At the beginning of July, we received the extremely prestigious Ecolo-Cyclo Award at the Congress of the Boîtes à Vélo - France for our Save my eBike adapters.
An award, presented by our comrade Philippe Genty, which allowed us to remind everyone of our commitment to give a second-third life to e-bikes and our work on the refurbishment of professional cargo bike fleets.
A big thank you to Les Boîtes à Vélo - France for this award, of course, but ABOVE ALL for the quality of this Congress 2026 which was very rich in exchanges, meetings, discussions, equipment tests, concerts, activities...
Les Boîtes à Vélo – France: the reference network for professionals who work on bikes
Founded in 2019 in continuity with the first local associations that appeared as early as 2012, Les Boîtes à Vélo – France is now the main national network dedicated to cycling entrepreneurship. The association brings together several hundred businesses, artisans, traders, logistics providers, manufacturers, restaurateurs, and service providers who have made cycling, and more specifically utility cycling and cargo biking, their main working tool.
Its objective is to promote professional cycling mobility as a credible, efficient and sustainable alternative to motorised vehicles, while supporting the economic development of this rapidly expanding sector. Present through a network of local branches spread across the entire territory, the association carries out awareness-raising, advocacy, training and networking actions between public and private stakeholders in order to accelerate the transition towards more sustainable and environmentally friendly mobility.
The Boîtes à Vélo Congress has become over the editions the essential meeting point for all stakeholders in professional cycling mobility. Organised every two years, it brings together for two days bicycle entrepreneurs, cargo bike and equipment manufacturers, local authorities, businesses, researchers, associations and urban logistics specialists. Conferences, round tables, technical workshops, demonstrations, cargo bike trials and exhibition spaces allow for the discovery of the latest innovations, sharing of feedback and collective reflection on the challenges of transporting goods and people by bike. The event also highlights the economic, environmental and social benefits of utility cycling, while fostering exchanges between professionals in a sector that is still being structured. Recent editions have gathered several hundred participants and dozens of exhibitors, confirming the central role of the Congress in the development of the French professional cycling ecosystem.
