Back to the roots

Steel made, our adapter screws in place of an electric motor on the frame of a bike.

It has a threaded bottom bracket allowing initially to de-electrify the bike, by mounting a standard crankset, then to re-electrify it later if needed.

It is light, robust, sustainable and allows the mounting of ebike kits.

FAQ - your questions

Here are the answers to the most common questions you may have. Have another one? Contact us!

How can I find out the exact model of my model?

The model of your motor is most often indicated on the motor itself. In case of doubt, refer to the technical documentation of your bike or search using the serial number indicated under the motor. Contact us (with supporting photos) if you have any questions.

Can I mount a motor on the adapter?

Our adapters allow you to return to the original status of the bike: the bottom bracket. From there, depending on our models (please refer to the description), you can mount a Bafang or Tongsheng type motor if your bike frame allows it. You will not be able to mount a central motor like the one removed from our adapter.

What is the best re-electrification option?

It is important to check what the bike frame allows to be mounted and your needs. Some adapters allow the installation of central electrification kits, such as Bafang and Tongsheng, but the bike frame may block their installation. Wheel motors (front and rear) are also possible options.

What type of crankset can be mounted?

Our adapters are designed for 68mm and 73mm BSA/BSC bottom brackets. It is necessary to adapt the crankset to these parameters.

I ordered the wrong model, can I exchange it?

Refer to our terms and conditions and get in touch with us. We are flexible.

The Toulouse Cargo Bikes (Toulouse)

Bike delivery companies’ warehouses are often full of dead electric cargo bikes. Les Cargos Toulousains team decided to rescue nearly their entire Bullitt fleet by swapping out worn and out-of-warranty Shimano EP8 and 6100 motors with our adapters—and giving them a new life with powerful front hub motors

Cargobikelovers (Germany)

Julian rescued three electric bikes—some missing motors, others completely broken—and brought them back to life. A true enthusiast, a cargo bike lover, and a firm believer in the power of these adapters, he happily spreads the word online. His dog is named Napoleon. No connection to the bikes, though.

Anthony

Anthony couldn’t stand watching his Douze G4 cargo bike slowly die in his garage. Its Brose motor had failed months earlier, with no replacement in sight. Our Brose adapter got it back on the road. The frame doesn’t allow for a mid-drive conversion but Anthony doesn’t care — he saved his bike.
